providing for the improvement of the alley between South 6th
street and South 7th street, from Main street south to the fir
alley running East therefrom, by constructing a cement roadwaY
the full width thereof between the points named.

The Board. of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in rogul.ir session at the office of sai'Board on Friday
Sq,ptember llth, 19089 at 10 O'Clock A,k,All the members of said Board
being present: :.:esara, Staubach, Johnson, and O'Neal.
The following proceedings were had to -wit: -
The Board meets to hear all persona interested in tr.e natter of the
assessment of benefits and damages on account of the Opening and
laying out o7' an alley between South-west First street and Soa,th-
west "econd street, from the Nortli line of Howard street, north
to the.l'irst alley running East and West, as provided for by
Declaratory Resolution No,•34-1908, After hearing all those who appeared
anct being dilly advised in the premises, the Board unanimously
approves a final assessment roll in the said matter, confirming In
all things the original assessment roll heretofore approved, and orders
same transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance.
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, from persons
primarily assessed on account of the irmrovenent of South 12th street
from South F street to Couth If street, by constructing cement
sidewalks, on both sides thereof, as provided for by Improvement
Resolution No.145-1908, After hearing all persons who appeared, the
Board approves a final assessment roll, confirming in all things
the original assessment roll as heretofore approved and orders same
transmitted forthwith to the lepartment of Finance.
The Board approves a bond and contract of Yhn, 11. Boyd for the
Improvement of South 7th street, fro;. Main street to South E street
by constructing cement sidevralks, and cement curb and gutter on both
aides thereof, as provided for by 1l11provement Resolution 110, 150-19089
A petition was presented, signed by i;estcott Carriage Company, to
construct under private contract, a cement sidesralF; 7 feet in width
abutting the East and �;outir sides of their property North-West
corner of ?forth 12th and 1; streets, said wall: on North 12th street
to extend from North E street to the south line of the P.C.C.&.St L.
liafiroad and on North E street from 12th street to the West line of
said uestcott Carriage Co's property. The Board grants said petition
said work to be dons under the direction and supervision of the
City Civil Engineer.
The Board did then adjourn,
