The Board meets to hear all Ver3ons interested or whose property
is affected by the follo:rin✓ described public improvement:
Improvement Resolution No. 157-1908, providing for th., irlyrover?nt
of South D street, from South 4th street to the C. C. &. L.P. A.
tract,, by constructing cement sidewalk five (5) feet in width on
both sides thoreof hetw':en the 'points named. After hearing all
interested persons who appeared, and all the interested resident
property holders renonstrating against said improvement, the Board
no''s rescinds all action heretofore taken on said resolution.
A petition was presented,signed by R. L[. ilonley and Frank N. r,att,
to construct under private contract, a c;en!ent curb and gutter and
cement sidewalk on the North aide of' South A street, from f'outh 15th
street to South 16th street, abutting Lots 26 and 9 ;.,endenhall and
Prices addition, the Board grants said petition, said ;rork to be
clone under the direction and supervision of the City Civil gineer.
A petition was presented, signed by R. d. Henley and Frank N. ,vatt,
to construct under private contract, a cement roadway in alley, the
full sridtri thin roof betivenn eouth 15th and Soutr 16tt1 atreet and
North of South A street in rear 01' Loots 26 and- .39 :.:endenhall and
Prices addition, thn Board grant: said petition, said vrork to be
done under the direction ant supervisiun Of' the Citv Civil Engineer.
The Board enters into a contract I^ith the `tandard.oil Conoany for
the supply of certain oils at certain stipulated !)rites, for the
Municipal Electric Light Plant tor the year ending Jctober 213t, 1909.
The Board did then adjourn.
