HomeMy Public PortalAbout10-19-1981 PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OR RICHMOND, INDIANA, SERVING AS A BOARD IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE RICHMOND POWER & LIGHT PLANT, OCTOBER 19, 1981 1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a Board in 2 charge of the operation of the Richmond Power & Light Plant, met in regular 3 session October 19, 1981 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Building 4 of said City. Chairman Welch presided with the following members present: 5 Messrs. Elstro, Williams, Ahaus, Hankinson, Mills, Parker, Carter and Paust. 6 Absent: None. The following -business was had, to-wit: . III 78 APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF OCTOBER 5, 1981 9 10 Councilman Ahaus moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as 11 prepared, seconded by Councilman Mills and on.unanimous voice vote the motion 12 was carried. 13 14 APPROVAL OF BILLS 15 16 Councilman Ahaus moved to approve the bills in the amount of $531,483.41, • 17 seconded by ,Councilman Carter- and on unanimous voice vote the motion was 18 carried. 19 20 REPORT OF STREET LIGHT COMMITTEE 21 22 Chairman of the Street Light Committee Larry Parker stated his committee has 23 reviewed the petition for two (2) street lights on Mikan Drive and have approved 24 the drawings from the Commercial Division of RP&L. This will be sent to the • 25 Board of Works with the Committee's recommendation. 26 27 OPEN BIDS FOR' TWO NEW LINE TRUCKS (CAB & CHASSIS) AND ONE NEW AERIAL DEVICE 28 29 General Manager Irving Huffman presented a proof of publication for the above 30 to City Attorney Ed Anderson and he found it to be in order.
