1) CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, PLEDGE
2) MINUTES - Workshop Monday, January 10, 2000.
3) 143RD STREET EXTENSION STUDY. Prior discussion by the Board centered about the
continuation of Phase I work for the contemplated extension of 143rd Street east to I-55. As
directed, the staff initiated discussions with TENG and Associates, reviewed their proposed
work schedule, timetable and costs.
During these discussions it became apparent that a professional Origin and Destination Study
was a critical first step in planning. At the Workshop on January 24, we will present the
engineering firm of Civiltech. They have the experience, credentials and recommendations
necessary to accomplish a professional Origin and Destination Study. If the Board agrees,
the staff will prepare a detailed scope of services and the appropriate budget to employ
Civiltech to perform the study in advance of engaging in a full blown Phase I Study.
Representatives from Civiltech will be available at the meeting to review their qualifications
and respond to Board questions.
4) STATUS REPORT ON THE RENWICK ROAD BRIDGE STUDY. The Village
Administrator will report on the recent intergovernmental meeting on the Renwick Road
Bridge Street Study.
S) ANY OTHER BUSINESS.
6) ADJOURN TO EXECUTIVE SESSION for the purposes of discussion on pending
litigation not to reconvene.
