Wedn+:sday January 27th, 1909,
The Board of Public Works of the City oi' Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the oi'fice of said hoard on 'Wodne3day
January 27th, 1909, at 10 O'Clock A. M. All the members of said
Board being present: Messrs, Staubach, Johnson and O'Neal.
Pile following proceedin63 were had to -wit: -
The Board approves a primary aasaasment roll in the matter o;thy:
improvement of the alley between South sth street and South 7th
street, from ].fain street south to the first alley running East
trerei'I'om, by constructing a cement roadway the full width thereof
between tLa points n:nred, as provided for by Improvement Resolution
No, 154-1908.
A petition was presented for the location of a Fire Alarm Box at thl-
corner ol'ldortb 21st street and C street, same was referred to the
Chief of Fire Department for investigation and report,
The Board instructs the Clerk to r;rito Roy 11, Compton, in answer to
his corltnunication to this Common Council which had been referred to
the Board, granting permission to Rudolph G. Leeds to place a bronze
tablet sthitably inscribed, in commemoration of the centennial -
