A COMMITTEE IN 'CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
RICHMOND POWER & LIGHT PLANT, OCTOBER 18, 1976
1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond,. Indiana, serving as a committee
2 in charge of the Richmond Power & Light Plant, met in regular session
3 October 18, 1976, at the hour of 7:00 P .M. in the Municipal Building of said
4 City. Mr. Ahaus presided with the following members present: Messrs .
5 Austerman, Carter, Cornett, Elstro, Merchanthouse, Mills, Paust and Williams .
6 Absent: None. The following business was had, to-wit:
III 78 Mr. Williams moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting, seconded
9 by Mr. Mills and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

11 Mr. Austerman moved to approve the following, seconded by Mr. Elstro and
12 on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried: -

29 Mr. Ahaus reported representatives from Ernst & Ernst will be present at a
30 meeting to be held October 25th at 7:00 p.m. at RP&L to answer any questions
III31 on their preliminary report.

33 Mr. Huffman, General Manager, reported the annual inspection of Whitewater
34 Unit #2 is progressing as normal . Having two (2) units allows RP&L to do
35 most of the maintenance themselves and allows them not to have to hurry
36 causing them to-miss something.

38 Mr. Elstro announced there will be a meeting of the Street Light Committee
39 Thursday, October 21, at 7: 30 p.m. at RP&L.

41 Mr. Reinke stated that as of last Thursday, the last of the law suits
42 under litigation as a result of construction was settled.

44 There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and passed
45 the meeting was adjourned.
