The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board on Friday
June 4tn, 1909, at 10 0 Clock A. !.{, All the members of said
Board being present: 3,essrs, Hallowell, Johnson and 01Nea1.
The following proceedings were had to -wit: -
The Clerk was instructed to ask for bids on bang+. concerts, 16 in
number, to be given at Glen Park on Sunday afternoons beginning
about July 1st, 19096
The Board increases the wages of Eva Turner, employed at the Light
Plant office, to $40eOO per month effective June 1st, 1909,

A petition was presented, signed by Hac)anan Alehfoth & Co, asking the
privilege of laying a Railroad switch over and across South e street
connecting their place of business with the C, C, & L. Railroad, at a
point on said South r. street about six feet east of present switch,
the Board grants said petition.
The Board approves the contract and bond of Boots & aunt, for the
inprovement of South 7th street, from South E street to South R street,
by constructing cement curb anr' gutter on both sides thereof, between
the points named, as provided for by Improvement Resolution No. 169-
19096
The Board approves the contract and bond of Philip Hipskind & Sons,
for the construction of a sewer system in Fairview, as provided for
by Improvement Re.;olution No, 170-1909.
The Board Epproves the contract and bond of Daniel G, Burkhardt, f'or
the improvement of South 8th street, from South E street to South H
street, by constructing cement sidewalk and cement curb and gutter on
both sides thereof, between the points named, except the poasiprovided
