HomeMy Public PortalAbout11-03-1975 PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, SERVING AS A COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE RICHMOND POWER & LIGHT PLANT, NOVEMBER 3, 1975 1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular 2 session November 3, 1975 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers 3 in the Municipal Building in said City serving as a committee in charge 4 of the operation of the Richmond Power & Light Plant. Mr. Brown presided 5 with the following members present: Messrs. Cornett, Elstro, Geier, 111 6 Hilton, Marino, Merchanthouse, Mills and Williams. Absent: None. The 7 following business was had to-wit: 8 9 Mr. Williams moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting, 10 seconded by Mr. Mills and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. 11 12 Mr. Cornett moved to approve the following bills, seconded by Mr. Geier, 13 and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. 14 15 APPROVE THE FOLLOWING: 16 Bills in the amount of $ 197,165.81 17 Interest Coupons 10,715.00 18 1 Payroll $ 68,638.00 19 20 INVESTMENTS PURCHASED 21 *Cash Reserve Fund $ 180,000.00 22 23 *C/d. 's Maturing 12/30/75, yielding 5-5/8 24 25 Irving Huffman, General Manager, recommended the bid for one new car 26 be awarded to Kurdy's Brookbank Chevrolet. 27 28 Mr. Williams moved to award the bid for one new car to Kurdy's Brook- 29 bank Chevrolet in the amount of $2,397.00, seconded by Mr. Geier and 30 on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. 31 32 Mr. John Brown, Chairman of the Board, set a meeting of the Board 33 for November 10, 1975 at 7:00 P.M. at the Richmond Power & Light 34 and he also invited the new Council members to attend. 35 36 There being no further business on motion duly made, s?conded and passed, 37 the meeting was adjourned. 38 39 John Brown 40 Chairman 41 42 43 ATTEST: Margaret Mellen 44 City Clerk
