A COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
RICHMOND POWER & LIGHT PLANT, AUGUST 18, 1975
1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular
2 session August 18, 1975 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers
3 in the Municipal Building in said City serving as a committee in charge
4 of the operation of the Richmond Power & Light Plant. Mr. Brown presided
5 with the following members present: Messrs. Cornett, Elstro, Geier,
6 Hilton, Marino, Merchanthouse, Mills and Williams. Absent: None. The
8 7 following business was had to-wit:
9 Mr. Williams moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting, seconded
10 by Mr. Mills and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

12 Mr. Marino moved to approve the following bills, seconded by Mr. Mills
13. and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

15 APPROVE THE FOLLOWING:
16 Bills in the amount of $ 494,331 .34 .
17 Interest Coupons 65,921 .25
18 1 Payroll 66,123.77

20 TRANSFERS FROM CASH OPERATING FUND TO:
21 Depreciation Reserve Fund $ 91 ,000.00
22 Cash Reserve Fund 60,000.00
23 Utility Bond Fund 68,745.82

25 General Manager, Irving Huffman, examined proof of publication for
26 advertisement for receiving bids on Truck Chassis and found it to be
27 in order..

29 Mr. Geier moved to accept and file proof of publication for bids on Truck
30 Chassis, seconded by Mr. Hilton and on unanimous voice vote the motion
III 31 was carried.

33 Bids were received from Kurdys-Brookbank, Fred First Ford and Bob Ross
34 Buick, Altec Industries, Inc. , Indpls. Ind. ; Delphi Body Works, Delphi ,
35 Ind. ; Seastrom, Inc. , Indpls. , Ind. ; Reid-Holcomb Co. , Inc. , Indpls. , Ind.

37 Bid tabulation sheets are on file in the City Clerk's Office.

39 Mr. Geier moved to accept and approve the Recreations Program Budget
40 in the amount of $848.00 as presented by Mr. Huffman for the coming year
41 9-1-75 to 8-31-76, seconded by Mr. Marino and on unanimous voice vote
42 the motion was carried.

44 There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and
45 passed, the meeting was adjourned.
