Clerk of Hoard. 1.71 The Board receives bids for the construction of a sewer: Beginning at the sewer corner of South 2nd and B street, thence south to the first alley running east and west, south of South B street, thence east to South •3rd street: also in alley between South 2nd and South .3rd street, from first alley south of south B street to South C street, as provided for by Improvement Resolution No. 205-1909, as follows: - Schnieder Bros, Bid Improvement complete, excepting if any rock be found excavation will he extra, - - - - - - 84 cents per lineal foot Lewis Hall, Bid Improvement complete - - io:-,n F. Cronin, Did Improvement complete - - $1.00 per lineal foot 92 cents per lineal foot, excepting if any rock excavation fL2.00 per yard extra. The bid of Schnieder Bros being the lowest and within the estimate of the City Civil Engineer, on motion the contract was awarded to the said Schnieder Bros. The Board. meets to hear all persons interested or whose property is affected by the following described public improvement: Improvement Resolution No. 206-1909 providing for the improvement of North-west Second street from Richmond. Avenue to Chesnut street, by constructing cement sidewalk on both sides thereof, between the points named. After hearing all persons who appeared, and being fully advised In the premises the board decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said im roveroent are equal to the estimated cost of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, the same being confirmed by a ununimous vote of the Board without modification.
