Board being present: Messrs, Ifallowell, Johnson and O'Neal.
The following, proceedings were had, to-wlt:-
The Board meets to hear all persons interested or whose property is
affected by the following described public improvement:
;pprovement Resolution No. 207-1909, providing for the improvement of
11orth 12th street, west side from North I street to the south line of
Bridge over Whitewater river, and east side from North G street to the
south line of Bridge over Whitewater river, by constructing cement
sidewalk, 6 feet in ividth, between the points named. After hearing all
persons who appeared, and being fully.advised in the premises, the
Board decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for
said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same as reportea
by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said
resolution as originally adopted, the same being confirmed by a unani-
mous vote of the Board 'without modification.
A petition was presented for the improvement of South Second street,
from Main street to South A street, by constructing cement sidewalk
on the west side thereof, between the points named, same was taken
under advisement.
The Board employs John A. Hasecoster, Architect, to prepare plans and
specifications, and to superintend the erection of a Hose }louse on
West Fifth. street, and for such services the said John A. Hasecoster
Is to receive 5 cjo of the contract price therefor.
The Board approves the contract and bond of Schnieder Bros, s'or the
construction of a sewer: Beginning at the sewer corner of South Second
and South B street, thence south to the first alley running east and
west south of South B street, thence east in said alley to South Third
street: also in alley between South Second and South Third street, from
First alley south of South B street to South C street, as provided for
by Improvement !?esolution No. 205-1909.
