The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana
net in regular session at the office of said Board on 'lWedns y
October 20th, 1909, at 10 O'clock A. M. All the members of Said
Board being present: iaesars, Hallowell, Johnson and O'Neal.
ThPfollowing proceedings were had, to-vrIt:-
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, from persons primarily
assessed on account of the improvement of south llth street, from
south C street to south E street, by constructing cement sidewalk and
cement curb and gutter on both aides thereof, between the points
named, as provided for by Improvement Resolution Ito, 179-1909. After
hearing all persons who appeared, the Board approves a final assessment
roll, confirming in all things the original assessment roll as hereto-
fore approved, and orders same transmitted forthwith to the Department
of Finance.
The Board instructs the Clerk to notify the Richmond City Water P/orke
to place,a fire hydrant on the water line that said company is laying
in Beallvlew, said 'hydrant to be located at a point on said line that
may be agreed upon between the south side improvement association and
E.E. Miller, Chief of Fire.Departrent,
The Board receives bids for the erection and completion of a two story
front, and a one story rear frame hose House for the Richmond City
Fire Department, to be built on Lots number 13 and 14, Levi Peacocks
first addition to the City of Ricivaond, Indiana, as follows:

The Board takes same under advisement, not being able to award the
contract therefor until the Common Council make an additional appropria-
tion.
