A RESOLUTION REGARDING FUNDING FOR PHASE I ENGINEERING VAN DYKE ROAD
S.T.P. PROJECT AND 20% LOCAL MATCH FOR FT. BEGGS/ROBERTS ROAD AND VAN
DYKE ROAD S.T.P. PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield has applied to the Will County Governmental
League Transportation Committee for S.T.P. funding of improvements on Van Dyke Road
and Ft. Beggs/Roberts Road; and
WHEREAS, the total estimated cost of the projects is approximately $3,085,972; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield has entered into an engineering contract with
Robert E. Hamilton Consulting Engineers, P.C. for Phase I Engineering:
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the corporate authorities of the Village of
Plainfield that the Village of Plainfield can guarantee the 20% local funding, right-of-way,
and engineering cost, in the sum of approximately $1,128,518, required for the projects.
