The following, proceoding3 were had to -wit: -
Mr, Nettleton Neff, Superintendent of the Pe C. Co & St L Ry,%
appeared before the Board with a proposal for the construction oP
an over head bridge across the right of way Of the said Ry, Co,
at West 5th Street, which matter was taken under advisement,
The Board instructs time Clerk oil Board to notify the property owner
of property abutting on the North side of Elm Place, to repair e1de,
walks, as they are in a dangerous condition.
The Board instructs the Clerk to notify the Supt, of the City Light
Plant,to move th Electric Light from North D Street & Ft Wayne Ave,
South to the corner at the top of the hill on corner of Ft Wayne Avl
& Nortn D Stret.
The Board decides to close contract for la Combination Hose & Cheni
Wagon, with the Robinson Fire Apparatus Mfg. Co. of St Louis No,.
at the price bid 1245.00
The Board reports the purchase of three horses for the use of the
Fire Department from August Taube, for the price of $700000
Two of said horses for the West side Hose Co. No. 5 and the other
one for the South end Hose Co. No 4 and orders the same paid for
t'r,e price stipulated,
Claims to the amount of $1428.01 were alloyed and ordered paid,
The Board did then adjourn,

The follo'rring proceedings were had, to -wit: -
The Board recoivea a request from the Board of Metropolitan Police
Corasissioners, asking that certain changes be made in regard to certain
rooms Of
The Baard unanimously to make theta more convenient and more
private, y grants the request and orders the Clerk
to notify the said Board of Consniasioners, of Bane, i
A claim for $2.5o from a Mr. Roberts for post for Mail box at the corner
of National and College Avenue's, and setting same was received and the
City Civil Engineer was instructed to take the matter up with the Post
Vaster of this City,
Hr, Harnrond President of the Board having returned from St Louis.were he
and the Fire Chief had gone in the interest of the City in regard to the
purchase of a Combination Hose & Chemical wagon for the new West side
Hose House, Reports that they had found every thing satisfactory regards

ready to be signed by the Board of Public Works On behalf of the City
of Richmond, agreeing to -deliver the said wagon to the City F, 0, B,
within 90 (lays, By unanimous vote the said Board decides to award said
contract for the said wagon to the said Robinson Fire Apr)nrsltus
at contract price $1245,00
