The Board of public Works of the City of Riohrsond, Indiana
met in regular session at the office o1' said Board on Thurada
February 17th, 1910, at 9 O'clock A, M. All the members of aaid
Feb
Febr1 being present: 1,e3sro, llwxiond, Zlm., rr,an and Charles.
BoaThe foliowing proceedings were had,to-wit:-
The claim of Yr. Roberts for setting Mail box,and material for
sane on the corner of National road and College Ave, to the aboi
of E2.50 which was present rd to the Corson Council at their mee
held on the evening of February 7th, 1910, and was referred to
the Board by said Council, after due investigation by the City
Civil Engineer, The Board decides that it is not within their
scope to pay said claim , and therefore disallows the same, '
Claims to the amount of $267.26 were allowed and ordered paid,
The Board did then adjourn.

The
R1chr..on Baking Co, appeared before the Board and questioned by the
President of Board fir, Nanurond as to his injuries Stated that he had
recovered and would b-' able to go to work March lat. 1910 Lr. Ha=nd
stated that as he had been on the city pay roll since said accident
and as ti:a city was in nowise responsible for said accident, and as
he had recovered, the Board( had decided that he be taken off the pay
roll, frou February 16.h, 1J10,as he had Stated that he was not perman-
ently injured.
This being the day set to receive bid:: for horses and harness for the
use of the Light Plant,anrt the City Civil Engineer and the taking care
of nagor.3 for the sane only 2 bids being received and they being con-
sldered to high the Board takes the sail unu;r adviser?nt.
The Poard receive3 bids for dray,for Municipal Electric Lighting and
Power Plant,as follows,

The bid of lyera and Parke being the lowest bid the contract for the
said dray was awarded to ldyers and Parke,
The Board decides to purchase 9 City directories ordered by the old
Poard of Public Work3 from R. L. Polk and Company,
