The Board meets to tiear all persons interested or whose property is
affected by the following described public improvement:
IMprOVeJT ent Resolution No. 212-1910, providing for the improvement
of alley north of North I Street, and alley first west of North loq
Street, by construction of a sanitary sewer from the presentsewerl
North 8th Street, at the alley North of I Stre>t thence east to
Nortr loth Street: Also in the alley first west of North loth Streak
from the alley North of North I Stree)t, south to North I Street.
No one appearing or remonstrating against the said improvement,
The Board confirms resolution as originally adopted.
The Health Offic3r reports that they need two cheap mattresses and
6 cheap blankets at the detention Hospital, on motion the Preslden
of Board fir. Rammond was instructed to purchase the same.
The Board did then adjourn.

The Board of Public Works of the City of Richr d, Indiana,

Board being present: kessrs, Hammond, 7,ltme27an and Charles.
Th,,following proceedings were had, to -wit:-
p petition was presentedcfor the inprovemant of the alley between
south 4th and South 5th .treet,from the alley South of South B•
Street, by constr•uctinp cement roadway in said alley,
The Board refers the said Petition, to the petltioner3 for agreer..ent
as to intersections,
The Board decides to send official notice to Gas Companles, notifying
them that all excavation.rj in streets ect, must be properly filled
at once, and keep in proper condition.
The Board directs the City Attorney to notify Street Railway Co.not
to make any additional work on tracka in Glen Park,and ask the said
company to meet with the Board of Works to see if any agreement can
be reached by which said tracks can be removed from said Glen Park,
irlthout suit.
The Board instructs the Clerk to notify the Street Railway Company
that work on 8th Street lnprovement, by paving the same with brick
from South All street to North A" street, will be commenced by the
City April 1st,1910, and that the said Railway Company be ready to
prosecute its part of said improvement.
The Board approves the contract and bond of Daniel C. Burkhardt,
for the improvement of the east side of North 13th Street, by the
construction of a cement sidewalk 6 feet in width, from North G• stree
to North H" street as provided for by Improvement Resolution
No, 209-1909. do
The Board appoints Christian Behring ms custodian of South loth and
South 7th street parks, from April 15th, 1910 to October 15th, 1910'
at a salary of $35.00 per month.
The Board instructs th� Clerk to advertise for bids, for the sweepin€
Of streets as per s Pcifications on file in office of said Board
said bids to be opened 9 O'clock A. He tfonday March 21st 1910,
Claims to the amount of 1%180.87 Mere allowed anal ordered paid.
