The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indian,
met in special sesion at the office of said Board Tuesday '

The following proceedings w9re had, to -wit: -
The Board receives bids for an Electric 1poist for the hluniclpzl
Electric Lighting anrt Power Plant, as follows: -
Weir & Craig Mfg, Co, Chicago,Ill, Bid:
One double drum hoist IOH.P, electric motor 110 volt, $a
Jones Hardware Co, City, Bid:-
One 10 H. P. 8lectric motor, 110 volt, ll.C. 2000V capacity on
single line of speed 150 ft. a minute, 3800.00 net f.o,b. Buffuls, delivery from one weak to 10 days, Both bids beijig same as toprIN
and as the Jones Hardware. Co. agree to deliver said hoist viithir,
10 days, contract is awarded to Jones Hardware Co,'
The Board decide to abolish the office or• trench inspector ;r

directed to purchase point and employ persons to do the mete s;^
painting renuired at said Plant,

Pursuant to a notice sent to the T, H. I. & E. Traction Co.
Suporintendent A. Gordon cf said Co, net with the Board and
said Gordon is instructed to have the streets repaired along
their trucks in the City & keep them in repair, said Cordon
agrees to look after the matter at once,

for the City decline the positions, The Board appoint i(essrs,
