The following proceedings were had, to -wit:- The follov+inp prod.dings were had, to -wit:- an,
Permission is granted lira, .F, We Stephens President, Federation
of Nonens Clubs of this City, to place receptacles for trash on
suitable otreets, streets & places. to be designated by the Boar
The Board approves the contract & bond of Afoorrnan & Roland, for
the improvement of tfe City Building by constructing a Steil
Ceiling in the truck root. of Firn r?partment in said building,
The Board directs the clerk to advertise for bids -for coal to
be used by the city for the year ending July 1st, 19116
The Board approves an aLreer.ent between the city & H, J, Ridge
per Frank Ridge, for the rent of Lot No,. 581, in E. Starr,a Add,
to the City of Richmond, for the right:r & privilege oi' holding
a North -side Market on said part lot, for the market season of
1910, Consideration $15,00,
Claims. to. the amount of $265.66 were alowed and ordered paid,

The Board hears complaint from Lulu Brower, Milliner at the North-
west corner of' 6th & I:ain , treats, in regard to wagons Standing on
said corner, The Board decides as their is an ordinance on this
subject, it is a matter for the Common ounoil to take up,

The Board meets to hear remonstrances,if any,from persons primarily
assessed on account of the improvenor,t of South loth Striet, from
South F Street to 5'outh J Street, by grading & graveling the road-
iray, & cement sidewalk & cement curb & gutter on both sides thereof,
between the points named, as provided for by Improvement Resolution
No, 193-19091 After hearing, all persons who appeared protesting that
cement work is bad, The Board decides to go over the ground and ex-
amine the said defects before taking further action,
The Board meets to hear remonstrances if any, from persons primarily
assessed on account of the improvement of the East side of ?forth lath
by the construction of a cement sidewalk 6 feet in width from North C
Street to North H Street, as provided for by Improvement Resolution
?10, E09-1909, After hearing ail persons who appeared, the Board
approves a final assessment roll, confirning in all things the or-
iginal assesment roll Eta heetofore approved, and orders same trans-
mitted forthwith to the Departnant of Financ•.,
