The following, proceedings were had, to-wlt:- 14r. Gardner City Attorney presented the matter of claim against the City filed some time ago by Attorney,W. Jessup in behalf of Mr, H. Thornburg in the sum of $200.00 for damages sustained by him in breaking through culvert at 0 uth lath & "B" Streets, on motion this matter was referred to the !Mayor to take up with Mr, Thornberg, for settlement. It was unanimously decided by the Board that the Sup't of Streets be instructed to, at once repair the culvert at .`youth 16th &"P," Ste, with cement. The Board receives a request from Chas. Sudhoff to lay a tile in gutter at blind alley on the North side of South "D"Street between South 3rd & 4th Street, said request is granted with the understand. ing that said the is laid under the direction & supervision of the City Civil Engineer, & at all times kept clean. A petition was presented for the improvement of the east side of Fort Wayne Avenue, from North "D" Street to North "E" Street,tby constructing cement sidewalk the full width thereof, between the Points named, same was referred to City Civil Engineer for plans and resolution. Messrs, Reller & Lahrman Directors of the Young Liens Business Club, appeared before the Board, and requested the services of the City Civil Engineer, to make a Plat of the grounds at 15th Street to be used for the Hippidrome at the coming Fall Festival, request is granted and Engineer instructed to make said plat, The Board directs theClerk to notify the Fire Chief to issue an order to the Fire Departments to 3101v up on Doran Bridge, The Board instructs the Clerk to serve notice through the Police Departrment on tir; Richmond Light Heat & Power Company, to make no conneetfona between the line & pipes formely owned & used by the Richmond Natural Gas Company and the limas & pipes heretofore owned & used by the Richmond Light Heat & Power Companyof Richmond, and not to use the lines & pipes formely owned , the Richmond and used by Natural Gas Company for the purpose of supplying and distributing artificial gas In the Oity of Richmond, Indiana, The Board did then adjourn' President of Board. The followingproceedings were had to -wit: - The Board approves a primary assessment roll in the matter of the improvement of the alley between Boyer & Ridge Street, by the con- struction of a sewer, from the alley North of Charles Street to School Stroet, as provided for by Improvement Resolution No,192-1909, The Board approves a primary assessment roll in the matter of the construction of a sewer in South ■A• Street, beginning at the trunk sewer corner South 6th 8c "A" Street and running west along South 'A■ Street 248 feet, as provided for by Improvement Resolution No.221- 19100 The Board meets to hear remonstrances if' any from persons primarily assessed on account of the improvernent of the alley between South 14t & 15th Strret, by grading, graveling, bowldering & •3 brick center from South D Street to South "F" Street, as provided for by Improve- ment Resolution No. 218-1910, No one appearing or remonstrating. The Board approves a final assessment roll, confirming in all things the original roll as heretofore approved, and orders sane transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance. The Board meets to hear remonstrances if any from persons primarilly assessed on account of the improvement of the West side of South 150 Street by constructing cement sidewalk 6 feet in width from South "DN to ■E" Street except that portion already laid in cement, as oprovided for by Improvement Resolution No, 220-1910, No onePappearing Br re- monstrating against said improvement, the Board approves a final assessment roll, confirming in all things the original assessment roll heretofore approved, and orders same transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance.
