The folowlnq proceedlnpa were had, to -wit:- Orman,
The Board unarinously adopts Improvement Resolution Ho, 224-1910,
providing for the construction of a cllstriet sewer in the alley
between Chestnut Street & the Indiaapolis llivislon oil the p, 0
C, & St L. Ry. Co.,right-of-way, from trunk sewer in North-west
2nd street to the center of North-west 4th Street, the territory
to be derived by an assessment for said sewer and its constructlol
is as follows, to -wit:- alj that territory between North-west 2nd
street & the west corporation line, and between Chestnut Str9et &
the Indianapolis Division of the P, C. C. & St. L. Ry. Co., righ
of -way.
The Fire Chief reported the resignation oil Galen Hopkins as pipe
at No. 4 Hose Co. The Board appoints Herbert Ray as extra firer
Martin Swisher fireman advanced to position as a regular firenan
to suceed Oalen Hopkins,
Upon recommendation of the City Attorney, the City Controller &
Treasurer are directed to devise a proper system of book keeping
for the Street improvement fund, and 'hereafter all assessments
be applied to the payment of bonds and interests as provided for
by law.
Nis HOn. W, W. Zirrerman directs the Clerk to notify the heads
of all city departments and the Finance Committee of Council to
meet with the Board at their office on Thursday September 1st,
at 8 O'clock P. M. to go over the budget for the year 19111

John F. Cronin do Company on the 15th day of August, 1910,
A petition was presented, signed by T. A, Mott, Sup't., of Schocls
to construct an private contract, a cement sidewalk 8 feet In
width, on the South•sid9 of North +B■ Street from North 8th to
North 9th street, The Board grants said petition said work to be
done under the direction and supervision of the City Civil Engineer.
A petition was presented, signed by Edward Ramler, to construct
under private contract a cement sidewalk on the South side of
South 'E' Street, from South 8th Street 50 feet east, the Board
takes same under advlsment,
The Board meets to hear remonstrances If any, from persons primar
ily assessed on account of the construction of a sewer in the alley
between Boyer and Ridge Street from Charles to School Street, as
Provided for by Improvement Resolution No 192-1909, No one appear-
ing or remonstrating, the Board approves a final assessment roll,
confirming in all things the original assessment roll as hereto-
fore approved, and orders same transmitted forthwith to the Depart-
ment Of Finance,
The Board meets to hear remonstrances if any, from persons primar-
ily assessed on account of the construction of a sewer in South'
A' Street, beginning at the South 6th Street trunk sewer at South
6th & 'p' Street and running west along South 'A' Street 248 feet,
as provided for b Improvement Resolution Pio. 221-1910, No one
flpPearin3 or remonstrating, the Board approves a final assessment
roll, confirminp in all things the original assessment roll as
'errOtofore approved, an(i orders the same transmitted forthwith to
the Department of Finance.
