Soil and Water Conservation District("IJnion District"),arid the WUI<Solid Waste Management("WUR").
VVhercma, City, Wayne District, Union District, and VV|1K wish \o jointly od|izr services of" ail
Assistant Conservation Education Coordinator (the *Assistant") to ouaimi arid supplement the ourviuco that
are provided bv the Educatioo Coordinator for certain services within the scope mfContm t9-2O23� and
WHEKE&S, the parties desire to evidence their roles in financing the costs ofdhc/\uai(unL and do

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration vfihc rnutuu| promises and covenants hercio cuniaimud,
including the ahx_)vcstated recitals,City, Wayne District, Union District,and WUQ Ilcrcby agrcc as follows:
| The Assistant Conservation Eduuuiion Coordinator shall be yuJd at: an hourly rx1c riot to
exceed $16.26, with expected hours ofwork riot to exceed a yearly average of"twenty-ninc
(29) hours per week.
2. It is understood that the individual or individuals hired into the position may or may no(
qualify under the /A80'/nuYunuprogram wbccu iheywmold be eligible for ufifty perceni
�50%) reirnhursuonentofa|lquu|iDcdexpcnucu.

A. Wayne District Thirty percent(30%)
B. -WUR Thirty percent (30%)
C. City Thirty percent(30%)
D. Union District Ten percent(10%)
4. If the individual hired is eligible under the EARN Indiana program, it is expected that
County shall act as the sponsoring entity with respect to the EARN Indiana funding
application for the position. Upon County's receipt of the EARN Indiana reimbursement
funds, said funds shall be remitted to the four entities listed above in paragraph 43 in
accordance with the therein listed percentages of participation by each.
5. The term of this Contract shall be for a period of one year commencing as of January 1,
2023 and concluding on December 31, 2023. Absent written notice to the contrary by any
party at least ninety(90)days prior to the end of such one(I)year period to all other parties,
this Agreement shall be deemed to be automatically renewed for successive additional one
(1)year terms pursuant to the same conditions and agreements contained herein, unless the
salary of the Coordinator is requested to increase by more than five percent (5%), which
request shall require the parties to negotiate and execute a new agreement. Any party may
choose not to renew any successive one(1)year term by providing ninety(90)days written
notice of such an intent prior the expiration of the current term.
6. Any person executing this Interlocal Agreement in a representative capacity hereby
warrants that he or she has authorization, in writing, by his or her principal to execute this
Interlocal Agreement and that such authorization has not been revoked or rescinded.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Agreement at Richmond, Indiana, as of the day
and year first written above, although signatures may be affixed on different:dates.
