AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING TIIE 2023 BUDGET
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana passed an
annual budget for calendar year 2023 on October 3, 2022, and;
WHEREAS, funds for particular capital improvement projects that were
included in the 2022 Budget were not encumbered for 2023;
WHEREAS, these capital improvements project expenditures will now be
initiated in 2023;
WHEREAS, it has been determined it is now necessary to appropriate additional
sums of money to certain funds for use within the 2023 annual
budget.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the common council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, that the additional appropriations are hereby approved for the
funds as indicated:
1. Sanitary Fund 6601 $1,826,000
Account: Capital Projects
6601.0505.502.4321
2. Sanitary Capital Fund 6607 $1,826,000
Account: Short Creek
6607.0505.502.4333
