ORDINANCE NO. 87-05
ORDINANCE ABANDONING A PORTION OF SECOND EAST STREET BETWEEN
BLOCKS 18 AND 19 IN MOAB TOWNSITE.
WHEREAS, the Moab City Council pursuant to a public hearing
did by motion abandon the South 327 feet of Second East Street
between Blocks 18 and 19 on the 3rd day of October, A.D., 1966,
and
WHEREAS, an ordinance was never adopted formally abandoning
said street,
BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Moab that the actions of the City Council on October 3, 1966
abandoning the South 327 feet of Second East Street between
Blocks 18 and 19 in Moab Townsite be affirmed and that as
follows:
That the South 327 feet of Second East Street between Blocks
18 and 19, Moab Townsite, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the S.E. Corner of Block 18 and
proceeding thence North 327 ft. with the East
line of Block 18, thence East 99 ft., thence
South 327 ft. with the West Line of Block 19 to
the S.W. Corner of Block 19 , thence West 99 ft.
to the point of beginning.
is hereby vacated and abandoned..
