The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the o1'10e of said Board on Thursday

The following Proceedings were had, to -wit: -
Mr. John Hafnmr appeared before the Board requesting permission
from the City, to permit the Knighf t's oSt John to have a par.
ade on the streets of the city and to hold an exhibition drill
on Sunday Pe Me October 9th, 1910, on North "A" Street, The Board
grants said rPnuest & permission is granted.
Ure Hammond,President of Board is authorized to investigate the
different kinds of roofing, and the probable cost of same for
the City Hall,
The Board directs the Clerk to notify Mr. Wm. Dicks that they
have decided he may leave his wagon scales on North "A" Street,
stand at this time, provided, allways that he repair the same and
keep them in a good and safe condition.
Mr. H. 1,111, Sup't. , Richmond City 'Water Works, appeared before
the Board, asking that the said company be allowed to make cartel
contemplated improvements in their boiler rooms, which would
necessitate that they close down their 9ngine and puiapa for a
few hours, while changes are being made, and reported that there
would be ample protection for the City unless something out of
the ordinary should happen in the way of fire's. The Board grants
Permission to said company to make said improvements, they to no-
tify them and the Chief of the Fire Department when ready to make

on motion of W, we Zimmerman, and by unanimous vote of it was decided tc dispose of the followsaid Boars
following Said
animals at Glen
Park, as follows, to -wit:- All of the Flks but 39 All of the Deer
but •30 All the Coyotes but 2, and the President of Board authorized
to sell the same at whatever he shall deem a fair price*
The City Controller is authorized to issue to Agust Oberly, a permit
to move barn from North 20th & "C" St,rnet to the Stock yar(IS at
North 24th Street & Railroad,
The Board directs the President to have Mr. Jacob Kern inspect the
boiler in the City hall.
The Board ,grants to Dr.J: H, Kinsey, permission to cut down trees
abutting his property at the corner of North Ath & "B° streets.
A claim for $25.00 to John He Russell for decorating City building
was allowed and ordered paid,
The Board directs the street Cotmnisioner to inspect the bridgo & to
Place stone at the approuch of same on Bridge Avenue,erossing the ea•*
fork of the Whitewater river, also to begin placing crushed stone on
South "A" St, at Lath 5;t. east as far as his appropriation will pernit.
City Attorney is directed to notify the Straet Car 008 to make ear-
taln repairs on Doran bridge, West •3rd & National -road, & west .Ard &
0ain St, and if not complied tith, to bring action against said Co.,
Likewise to go after said Company in the matter of tracks in Glen
Park, and if there is tiny law to compel said Co, to remove said track
to at once proceed.
