The Board of Puhlle 17ork3 of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board on Thursday
October 13th, 1910, at 9 O'clock A. L[. The following m�mber3
of said Board being present, 2de33r3, ;[cumnond anti 7,imr19rman,
Absent Mr. Charles. The folluwing proceedings were had, to -wit:
The Board meets to hear persons interested or affected by the
vacation of the alley first north of South "C" Street, running
east & west from South •Ard to 4th Street, as provided for by
Declaratory Resolution 1:o. 59-1910. No remonstrance being filed
with or presented to the Board against said proposed vacation,
thereupon,being fully advised in the matter, the Board takes
final action on said resolution, confirming, without modificat-
ion, all former action taken on same. And the Board now ordeal
that a list or roll be prepared of all owners or holders of prop.
arty, and of valuable interests therein, sought to be taken or to
be injuriously affected, which list or roll shall also describe
the property beneficially affected.
Mr. Gennet appeared before the Board stating that their Company
the Piano works Co. would like very much to have the Board to
Investigate the matter of repairing or making of South "A" Street,
from South 13t to 2nd Street, As to the hropable cost of same es
their company would be the main beneficiaries, this matter was
referred to the Engineering Department for investigation.
Mr. Gennet also reports the bad condition of sidewalk at the
Gennet Theater, corner North 8th & "A" Streets, around one of
the pales were the cement has been taken out and never replaced
on motion the Board agrees to Investigate the same.

The Board approves a primary assessment roll of benefits & damages
in the matter of the widening of West 9th Street, to a width of

by Declaratory Resolution No. 57-1910, and fix Monday November 219t,
as a dat: of final hearing on said proposed widening,
The Board approves a primary assessment roll in the matter of the
Improvement of 8th Street, from the south line of Borth "A° Street,
to the north line of Main Stre^t, and from the south line of Gain
Street to the north line of South "A" Street, by paving the roadway
of said street with metropolitan block cement filler: Excepting
that portion of said roadway occupied by the Street railway tracks
and for a distance of 18 inches one the outside of the outer -rails
Of said tracks, as provided for by Improvement Resolution No, 208-
1909,
