SMOLICH J, DARNELL, K. STALZER, S. RATI-IBUN. PRESDENT ROCK WAS ABSENT. OTHERS PRESENT: T. BURGHARD - ADMINISTRATOR J. HARVEY o ATTORNEY S. JANIK - CLERK D. BENNETT - CHIEF OF POLICE H. HAMILTON - ENGINEER J. DURBIN - PLANNER C. MINICK - FINANCE At 7:20 p.m. the Public Hearing convened. J. Durbin told the Board that the Village approved plans for detached single family residential development approximately two years ago on a 285 acre property located approximately 1/4 mile west of Rt. 30 between Rt. 126 and 143rd Street (formerly known as Sweetwood). This public hearing is specifically for a 4.6 acre addition to the project to accommodate the alignment of Meadow Lane. The agreement for the entire development would provide for a 720 unit single family residential development with lot size, sideyard setback, right of way, pavement width and building separation variances from the requirements of the R-1 Zoning District. Extensive discussion from the public and Board of Trustees on the need for a traffic study to indicate potential traffic that would be generated by the proposed 720 single family homes, the cost to install traffic signals, with a portion to be paid by the developers. Pam Boring and Maureen Opal of the Walker's Grove Homeowners addressed various traffic concerns. Attorney John Philipchuck, representing the developer told the Board they would consider the board's requests and be willing to continue discussion on various issues. Jan Steiner, neighboring resident talked about water issues and concerns and her attorney, Michael Saper addressed the Board with regard to the fence issues. Also discussed was the capacity of the sewer plant, possible Iow water pressure. S. Rathbun moved to adjourn the Public Hearing and reconvene the regular meeting. Seconded by K. O'Connell.
