DARNELL, K STALZER, S. RATHBUN. K. O'CONNELL AND PRESIDENT ROCK WERE ABSENT. OTHERS PRESENT: T. BURGHARD - ADMINISTRATOR J. HARVEY - ATTORNEY S. JANIK - CLERK J. DURBIN - COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIR. D. BENNETT - CHIEF OF POLICE H. HAMILTON - ENGINEER C. MINICK - FINANCE A. PERSONS - PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR D. COUNTRYMAN- SUPT. OF STREETS PONDS OF PLAINFIELD ANNEXATION 7:15 p.m. Trustee Darnell excused himself from the discussion. $. Durbin gave a summary of the 60 acre site proposed for a residential development along the east side of Rt. 59 immediately north of Graver Estates. Both the Plan Commission and Village Board have considered and approved the concept plan for this development. Angelo Kleronomous, President of Property Concepts and Developer was present to answer questions raised with regard to lot sizes, square footage of homes proposed. He also requested that we review the Graver Subdivision Covenants. Public Comments: Mary Kelley, adjacent land owner, requested that we try and keep the density down. There were no more comments from the public. R. Smolich asked that the Board consider additional landscaping on the private property. It was explained by J. Durbin that this development would have 1 parkway tree and 2 private property trees 7:30 Trustee Darnetl returned to the hearing. PUBLIC HEARING APRIL 20, 1998 PAGE TWO 7:30 p.m. BREITW[ESER ANNEXATION J. Durbin explained that the applicants hope to annex a 15.76 acre parcel to the Village in order to modify the existing floodplain on the property to remove several lots in Walkers Grove Unit 9 from the regulatory floodplain. The annexation agreement would provide for 10 single family detached lots. The annexation agreement would provide for dedication of 9 of the 15 acres to be park district as a construction of the Natures Crossing park site. Attorney Selfridge was present representing Breitwieser and answered questions regarding lot sizes, road improvements, and recapture fees. There were no public comments. 7:40 p.m Trustee O'Connell arrived at the hearing. WALLIN WOODS AMENDMENT TO ANNEXATION AGREEMENT J. Durbin requested a continuance of the above Public Hearing to provide for proper notice to adjacent property owners. No Public Comments were made. S. Rathbun moved to close the Public Hearing and return to the regular meeting. Seconded by J. Dement. Voice vote. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. 7:45 p.m. 8:36 p.m. .~ ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNIkNG MAY 1, 1998 Ken Smith, a Maple Court resident, told the Board that he would support the expansion of 143rd Street to Interstate 55 if the project took advantage of commercial development. There were no other public comments, and there were no comments from the Trustees. P,. Smolich moved to close the Public Hearing and reconvene the regular meeting. Seconded by J. Darnell.
