PUBLIC HEARING - WALLIN WOODS AMENDMENT TO ANNEXATION
AGREEMENT.
K. Stalzer opened the Public Hearing at 7:16 p.m. for the purpose of comments regarding a
request for proposed amendment to the existing Annexation Agreement for Wallin Woods. The
proposed amendment relates specifically to the provisions regarding Parcel B (the 13 acre parcel
located at the southeast comer of New Van Dyke and Lockport Street. All other provisions of
the existing agreement remain intact. The amendment would change the zoning provisions from
B-3 to B-5. The language in paragraph 1 has been modified to allow commercial uses permitted in
either the B-3 or B-5 district. Additional language has been added as a new paragraph 6
specifying right-of-way and easement provisions consistent with the preliminary plat. A new
paragraph 7 has been added which specifies construction of an 8 foot wide sidewalk along
Lockport Street along with streetscape improvements. The new paragraph 8 would replace the
existing paragraph 6 regarding a pedestrian path through Parcel B. '
There were no public comments and no other comments from the Board.
J. Dement moved to close the Public Hearing and reconvene the meeting. Seconded by J. Damell.
Voice vote. 5yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
Public Hearing closed at 7:30 p.m.
