The Board of Public Works of the City of Richrond, Indiana,
net in regular session at the office of said Board on lfonday
January 16th, 1911, at 9 O'clock A. U. All the members of said
Board being present, Masers, Hammond, Charles and 7,ira,erman,
The following proceedings were had, to-wlt:-
on motion the President of Board and Fire Chief' are lnstructed
to have necessary repairs made on No. 1. 1108e Company wagon as
recommended by the Fire Chief,
The Board directs the Finance Department, to pay J. F. Cronin
contractor, under improvement Resolution No, 167-19C9, the
sum of $98,86, same being the 51; retained on said contract,
The Hoard approves ti;e Contract and bond of C. & W. Kramer Co,,
for the furnishing of the Lumber to be used in the re -flouring
of the Down Bridge, as provided for by plans & specifications
on file In of"l" of said Board,
The Roard is visited by Committee from the Young !Sens Business
Club In regard to establishing the cluster light system, on
motion the Board agrees to furnish an answer to said committee
on said system on Monday January 28rd, 1911,
The Board did then adjourn,

The City Attorney Li* directed to notify Messrs, G, g�,m A

on Main treat hntwecn 1st & Pnd street, to keep same free from
loe, caused by water rur^ing on said walk from their respective
properties, and as soon as the weather will permit to repair
their drains so as to drain water into the sewer,
The Board ruts to hear all persons primarily assessed and take
final action on Declaratory Resolution No. 6R-191o, providing for
the appropriation and condemnation of certain real estate without
the city df Richmond, Indiana,'1n Wayne County, Indiana, for use
by said city for sanitary purposes, a remonstrance by farlhan
Cemetery, by Jonathan W. Newman,Preslt,, having been filed claining
the award of $I000.00 in favor Of said Cemetery as'being to small,
the Board proceeds to hear the same, and being duly advised in
the premises, overrules the same, and now the Board unanlnouely
8pproves a final assessment roll in said matter, confirming in all
things the original award of damages as heretofore approved, and
the Board now orders that the same be transmitted forthwith to the
Department of Finance,
The Board meets to hear all persons primarily assessed, in the mat-
ter of the opening of the -alley, between North 9th & loth Street,
from North •D" Street to Elm Place, as provided for by Declaratory
Resolution 140, 60-1y10, No one a peering or remonstrating against
said proposed opening, thereupontheBoard being fully advised 1n
the premises, unanimously approves a final assessr�ent roll in the
said matter, confirming in'all things the original assessme't roll
as heretofore an roved and the Board now orders that the Sam oe
transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance,
