The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond,
met in called•session at the office of said Board
January•31st, 1911, at 9,3o O'clock A. M. All the
said Board being present, Messrs, Hammond, Charles
The folloring proceedings were had, to -wit: -

IDuan. The following proceedings were had, to -wit:- '
The Board having discovered a clause in the bid submitted by
Schneider Bros., for the improvement of South 2nd Street, by
constructing cement sidewalk on the test side thereof, and
cement,purb & gutter on both sines thereof, from Main Street
to South "A" Street, as provided for by Improvement Resolution
no. 228-1910, as follows:- Notice: If Rock is round in grading
for cement work, rill be extra Price $42.00 per cubic yard, On
motion the Board unanimously re -considers their former action
in awarding the contract to Schneider Bros., and thereupon take
the matter of awarding of contract under said Improvement
Resolution No. 228-•1910, under advisement.

The Board unanimously adopted Declaratory Resolution No. 67-1911,
providing, for the widening of North 'D' Street, by appropriating
and condemning a strip of ground off of Lot No' .31 Jesses Iden's
Addition to the City of Richmond,
The Board unanimously adopts Improvement Resolution No, 248-1911,
Providing for the improvement of South 15th Street, from Lain St,
to South "E" Street, By constructing a 6 foot sidewalk on both
sides of said. Strent, between the points named, except that -portion
on the west side,from South "Do to "E" Street which is already laid
with cement: Also cement curb & gutter on the crest side of said St,
from Main to South "E" Street and on the east side from South 'A'
to South "E" Street.
The Hoard unanimously adopts Improvement Resolution No. 249-1911,
providing for the improvement of the First alley north of North 'A'
Street, By constructing cement roadway the full width of alley,from
North 7th to North 8th Street.
