Indiana serving as a committee in charge of the operation of the Richmond Power and Light .Plant met in regular session in the Council Chambers in 'the City Building in said City, Monday,, 'December 4,,,1967 at the hour of 7:00 o'clock p.m: (est) •Councilmanbackmeyer presiding'.with.the following' members being presen Messrs. 'Bell, Henn, Hilligoss, -Hollingsworth, ,Marino, Paust, Youngflesh and Yount. The following-business was had to wit: IIICouncilman Henn moved to approve the minutes of the previous. meeting without being read aloud, seconded by Councilman Hilligoss and 'on voice vote was carried. . 1 Councilman Hilligoss moved the ,following be allowed and paid, .seconded by Councilman Yount and on voice vote was unanimously carried. Approve the following: Bills in the amount of $162,424.44 ; Interest Coupons - 1953 Revenue Bonds 120.00 C\I 1 Payroll 50,889:09 C\d The General Manager presented proof of publication .of Notice To Bidders printed in the = Richmond Palladium-Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, c3 _ -Indiana, on the dates of November 22-29, .1967. . .Said notice,,designated. the date, of December 4, 1967 at the hour of 7:00 'o'clock p.m. jest) bids would .'be received;,. opened and read aloud for furnishing 3 Oil Circuit Breakers,' 15' KV' in accordance with documents now on file in the office of the City Clerk. The proofs were examined and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Yount moved the proof of publication-lbe received and filed, seconded by Councilman Hilligoss and on voice vote was carried 9-0. • December 4, 1967 at the hour of 7:00 o'clock p.m. (est) being the date' 'and time designated to open and read 'aloud' 'bids received. The following bids were opened' and read aloud: ' Westinghouse Electric Supply; Richmond -Electric Company- and Allis-Chalther's. Councilman Marino moved all bids be referred to the General IIIManager for. tabulation and recommendation, seconded by Councilman Hollingsworth and on voice vote was carried 9-0. The General Manager presented proof of publication of Notice To Bidders printed'in the Richmond Palladium-Item, a newspaper of general' circulation on the dates' of' MbVe'niber 22-29, 1967. Said''notice designated that on December 4, 1967 bids would be. received for furnishing one new 1968, 4-door sedan with a minimum wheel base_ of 119",. ;;The proof of publication was examined and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Yount moved the proof of publication be received and filed, seconded by Councilman Youngflesh and on voice vote was carried 9-0. . , . December 4,, 1967 at the hour -of 7:00 o'clock p.m. (est) being the _date and tithe designated' to open and read aloud all bids _received._: The followingbid's were'received and read aloud: : Wells Pontiac; Kurdys Chevrolet and Bowens Oldsmobile Councilman Marino moved that all bids be referred to the General Manager for tabulation and recommendation, seconded by Councilman Hilligoss and, on voice vote was carried 9-0. Chairman Backmeyer stated that a meeting of this body would be held after the, regular meeting of the Council to discuss the new office building. IIICouncilman Henn moved the General Manager be authorized to negotiate the agreement thais being handled' by. Mr. Al Rehling, a real estate. -brok -er. Councilman -Paus t ; t seconded this motion"`and on' voice vote was carried •Mr. Beck submitted' the 1968 Richmond Power and Light Budg'et.� ` -Councilman Yount moved the 1968. Budget be approved, seconded by Councilman Marino and on voice vote, was carried 9-0..
