At 7:27 p.m. President Rock called to order the Public Hearing - 1999 Bond Issue.
Finance Director, Chris Minick stated that the State Statutes require a public hearing prior
to the issuance of bonds by a municipality. By previous resolution, the Board has
established a public hearing on the proposed 1999 Bond Issue at the November 1, 1999
meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to receive public comment on the proposed bond
issue.
Ken Hummel, 346 S. Joliet Rd. asked if the Bond issue includes running water and sewer
lines to the southwest of the Village. Response was no. No further questions from the
public, and no questions from the Board.
Calabrese moved to close the Public Hearing and return to the regular meeting.
Seconded by Smolich. Vote by roll call. Calabrese, yes; Cherry, yes; Collins, yes;
O'Connell, yes; Smolich, yes. 5 yes, 0 no, 1 absent. Motion carried.
At 7:34 p.m. the Public Hearing was closed.
