The Board approves the contract & bond of Schneider Bros,, for the improvement of South 5th Street, from Main Street to South mEn Street, by constructing cement >31d9walk3 (7) feet wide On both sides of said 5th Street: Fxcept that portion on the meat side of said South: 5th Street, from }lain Street to the first alley south, which is to be made the full width, Also on the east side of said street, from main Street to the 2nd alley south, which is to be made the full width. And except where cement walk of good quality already exists and at grade, as provided for by Improvement Resolution No. 240-1910, The Board unanimously adopts Improvement Resolution 110,250-1911 providing for the improvement of the Alley between South 15th and 16th Struts from South "B" to South "C" Street, by con- structing cemattroadway in said alley the full width thereof. The Board unanimously adopts Improvement Resolution No.251-1911, providing for the improvement of Southwest•3rd Street, from Southwest ID4 Street to Southwest "E" Street, by constructing cement sidewalks 6 foot wide on both sides of said street, The Board direct the Clerk to ask Mr. 11, Dill Sup't,, of Rich- mond City Water Works to meet wl:h theca on Monday February 201 1911, Mr. John Hlpsklnd appeared before the Board protesting as a tax Payer against the letting of the Contract awardedthe Reliable Construction Co,, of Indianapolis, Indiana, on 11onday February 13th91911. On the grounds that the City Civil Fngine9r's esti- mate on said improverment, had been illegal'_y increased, the Board take said protest under advisememat until such time as the City Attorney can give them an opinion on same.
