The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board on 'Thursday

The following Proceeding ,
The Board me=ts to hear all persons interested or whose property
is affected by the widening of West gain Street to a width of
70 feet, from last 5th Street to the West Corporation line as
provided for by Declaratory Resolution No. 56-19119
A remonstrance by rail Minck, Sr., and others having been enter-
ed by Henry U. Johnson, Attorney, And the Board being; duly.
advised in the premises, now modifies said original resolution
so as to read as follows:- Beginning at the corner stone at the
S.E. corner of Sec 31, Twp 14, Hge 1, at lain & West 5th Streets:
running thence south•30 feet: thence west parallel to the south
line of said Sec No. 31, to the west corporation line of said
city: which corporation line is distant 193.95 feet east of the
center line of said Sec: running thence north 60 feet: thence east
parallel to the second mentioned line, to the east line of said
section in West 5th Street: thence south 30 feet to the place
of beginning, and. as so modified the Board takes final action
and confirms said resolution as so modified. And the Board now
orders that a list or roll be prepared of all owners or holders
of property, and of valuable interests therein,aou�ht to be taken
or to be injuriously affected, which list or roll shall also
describe the property beneficially affected.
Thomas J. Study Attorney appeared before the Board in behalf
of property owners interested in the construction of sewer
under Improvement Resolution No. 234-1910,protesting against
the awarding of contract for construction of said sewer under
said resolution, the Board takes same under advisement.
Perauant to continuance to this date the Board meets to hear
all persons interested or whose proper'.y is affected by the fol-
lowing described public improvement: Improvement Resolution
No, 243-1911, providing for the improvement of West 5th Street,
By Grading & Macadamizing the roadway, and constructing cement
curb, gutter & sidewalkp on both sides thereof, from the Nation-
al Road to the Indianapolis Division of the P.�C, C. & St L• Ry'
Co, right-of-way, After hearing all persons who appeared, the
Board takes same under advisement and continues hearing on
said resolution to tionday March sth, 19110
Mr. J. F, Davenport appeared befor the Board in behalf of the
Committee on G, A. R. encampment Baking that they be granted
the same privileges granted to the Fall Festival In the use
Of streets etc • during said encampment to be held in this city
May 17-18-99-1911, On motion the privileges were unanimously
granted, and the clerk ordered to notify Sup't., of Police
to render his assistance In selecting streets for privlleB
and renQdar protection for the veterans.
