The Board of Public Works of the City Of' Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board on :(onday
March 6th, 1911, at 9 O'Clook A. Ho All the members of said
Board being prernt, Messrs, Hammond,

The Board meets to *ear all persons interested or whose property
is affected by the following described public improvements:
Improvement Resolution No. P,48-1911, providing for the improve-
ment of South 15th Street from Lain Street to South E Street, by
40 constructing cement sidewalk 6 feet in width on both sides there-
of between the points named: Except that portion on the west
side of said street, from South Or)" to "E" Street which is al-
ready laid with cement. Also the construction of cement curb &
gutter on the west side of said street from Main to South ■E" St.
.and on the east side of said street from South "A" to "E" Street.
After hearing all persons interested who appeared, and carefully
considering a petition for construction of said walks to a width
of 7 feet on both sides of said street, from Main to South "B'
Street, and being fully advised in the premises, the Board decides
that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said imp-
rovement are equal to the estimated cost of same, as reported by
the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on
said resolution as originally adopted, the same being confirmed
without modification.
The Board meets to hear all persons interested or whose property
is affected by the following described public improveni?nts:
Improvement Resolution No. 249-1911, providing for the Improve-
ment of the first alley running east & west north of North "A'
Street, from North 7th to 8th Street. By constructing a cement
Roadway In said alley the full width thereof. After hearing all
Persons interested who appeared, and being fully advised in the
Premises the Board decides that the benefits to property liable
to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated
cost of same, as reported by the City Civil Pngineer, and there-
upon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted,
the same being confirmed without modification.

and as so modified the Board
takes final action and confirms said original resolution as so
modified. And the Board now orders that a list or roll be pre-
pared of all owners or holders of property, and of valuable Inter-
ests therein, sought to be taken or to be injuriously affected,
which list orroll shall also describe the property beneficially
affected.
The Board unanimously adopts Improvenent Resolution No. 254-1911
providing for the improvement of the first alley north of South
'A' Street, by constructing cement roadway the full width thereof
from South 20th to 21st Street,
The Board approves the contract and bond of Schneider Bros., for
the construction of a sanitary sewer in the alley between South
lOth & llth Street running from South "H' Street Trunk Sewer to
South "I■ Street, as provided for by Improvenent Resolution No,
24P,-1911.
The Board ?Irect the City attorney to draw up a bill for an ord-
inance regulating the licensing of saloons, and the sane to be
made R300.00 a year as recorriended by the Board.
Fire Ch1ef,Miller reported that he had received as a donation
from the Citizens of `bring Grove a check for t5o.00 on account
lit
of services of the Lepartmant at a fire, Mr. Miller waifitheruct-
ed to pay said check over to the City Controller
Department at an time created a relief fund for themselves then
the said 450, 00 to be paid into such fund.
Claims to the amount of 83.A70.77 were allowed and ordered paid.
