MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA SERVING AS A
COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
RICHMOND POWER AND LIGHT PLANT, OCTOBER 16, 1967
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana serving as a committee
in charge of the operation of the Richmond Power and Light Plant met in
regular session in the Council Chambers in the City Building in said City,
Monday, October 16, 1967 at the hour of 7:00 o'clock p.m. (est). Councilman
Backmeyer presiding with the following members being present: Messrs.
Bell, Henn, Hilligoss, Hollingsworth, Marino, Paust, Youngflesh and Yount.
The following business was had to-wit: ' -
Councilman Hilligoss moved the minutes of the previous meeting be approved
without being read aloud, seconded by Councilman Bell and on voice vote was
carried.
Councilman Marino moved the following be allowed and paid, -seconded -by
Councilman Paust and on voice vote was carried:

Bills in the amount of $208,026.06
1:001 Interest Coupons - 1953 Revenue Bonds 1,040.00 -
1 - Payroll - 50,752.89 -
Transfers from Cash Operating Fund to:
Cash Reserve Fund 66,528.43
Utility Bond Fund 24,102.9 .
Depreciation Reserve Fund 36,000.00
Mr. Beck reported that all the customers recently purchased from the
Public Service of Indiana would be on the Richmond Power and Light
service as of October 19, 1967. -
Councilman Hilligoss moved that Mr'., Beck and Mr. Keller be given authority
to employ additional counsel to represent any employee of the Richmond
Power and Light in future suits in any court and further the expense be paid
by the Richmond Power and Light. This motion was seconded by Councilman
Yount and on voice vote the motion was unanimously' carried.
There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and carried
the meeting adjourned.
