the Board of Public hbrK3 of tcie City of Richmond, their dedicat-
ion of certain real estate for the pur,jo3 of opening and extend-
ing an alley to a width of 12 feet, between South 9th & 10th Sts,
from South "I' to "J" Street: And whereas the board is of the
opinion that said alley is desirable & necessary: Now, Thereforq,
the said Board under & by virtue of the power upon it vested by
the Statutes of the State of Indiana, for and on behalf of said
City, Accepts said dedication for th.s purposes named, and order
that the same be recorded in the Recorders Offioe of said Wayne
County, and said alley is hereby declared opened and dedicated
to the public use,
The Board receives bids for the construction of sanitary sewer
running north & south between South 20th & ?1st Street, in rear
of Lots 2 to 11 inclusive, Chas, Scotts, Addition, beginning at
the Linden Hill Sub -Trunk sewer & running south 420 feet, as pro-
vided for by Improvpm.�nt Resolution No, 241-1911, as follows;.

The bid of Philip Hipskind & Sons, being the lowest and within
the estimate ov the City Civil Engineer, on motion the contract
was awarded to the said Philip Hipskind & Sons,

The City Civil Engineer & City Attorn3y were directed by the
Board to secure right-of-way for sewer along the N,E.L,Plant
Road to river,
The Board appoints John H. Weber, as custodian of South loth
and South 7th Street parks, from April 15th, 1911, to October
15th, 1911, at salary of $35,00 per month,
On motion of 1.1r. 31Mnernan, the President of Board is directed
to inform Mr, Wn, Bailey Sup't,, of Richmond Home Telephone Co.
and I. A. i;orman Sup't,, of Police, that the Board were ready
for the proposed demonstration of the Flash Light System to
be made Friday March 24th, P, 14, same to be made without any
cost to, or binding the city in any manner,
The Board receives bids for the improvement of the alley 1st north
Of North "A" Strut, by constructing a cement roadway in said
alley the full width thereof, from North 7th to 8th Street, as
provided for by Improvement Resolution No, 249-1911, as follows:-
