The Board of Public Works of the City of Richnond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board on londay April

The Board direct the Up't•, of M. E, L. & P. P. to trade One I.
K,A, & One 5 K,W, Westinghouse Transformer, and One 40 K,W, Pitts-
burgh transformer, in on new transforrferse
A petition was presnnted, for the construction of cement sidewalks
on both sides of South 13th Street from South "B" *o "D" Street
on west side of street from South "D" to "E" Street, and cement
curb & gutter on both sides of said street from South "Cu to "E■
Street, referred to the Engineer for investigation.
The Board unanimously adopts Improvement Resolution lie, 25$=1911,
providing for the improvei:ent of West 11ain Street, from West 5th St,
to the west corporation line, by grading & macadamizing the roadway
and constructing cement side'Aralks & cement curb & gutter on both
sides of said street between the points named,
The board direct the City Civil Engineer to draw up plans & resolut-
ion for the vacation of a portion of Washington Avenue,
On notion of Mr. Zimmerman, the clerk was directed to write to the
Officials of the C. & 0. Ry. Co. of Indiana and invite then to
hold conference with said Board in regard to the conditions exist-
ing at there bridge crossing Main Street, motion prevailed,
On motion of Mr. Zimmerman the City Attorney & Engineer, were direot"
ed to prepare an ordinance changing the names of streets in West
Richmond, Streets to be numbered & lettered sane as on the east side
of river. motion prevailed,
On notion of 11r, 71ru-erman the clerk was directed to invite the
representatives of the Richmond City Water WorksRichmond L191'•t
Heat and Power Co,, and T. H. I. & E. Traction O, o „ to meet as
Board on Doran Bridge on Tuesday April 18th 1911 at 2.30 O'clock

The Pollee Department was instructed to notify Mr. J. L. Horning
that he must have the house he is moving removed from the streets

The City Civil Engineer presented the following dedication c;'
land from Margarett S, Charles, by her son W. S, Charles, as
