JANIK, VILLAGE CLERK; C. MINICK, FINANCE DIRECTOR; J. HARVEY, ATTORNEY; A. PERSONS, PUBLIC WORKS; L. VAUPEL, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT; J. TESTIN, ACTING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR. CENTURY TRACE SPECIAL SERVICE AREA ORDINANCE PUBLIC HEARING. Mayor Rock opened the Public Hearing at 7:25 p.m. Director Testin told the Board that they approved a resolution proposing the establishment of a Special Service Area for Century Trace Subdivision on April 3, 2000. This ordinance is consistent with that approval. Pursuant to the terms of Century Trace's annexation agreement and State Statutes, a public hearing has been scheduled for May 1, 2000 to discuss an ordinance for the establishment of a dormant special service area for Century Trace. The dormant special service area is designed to protect the Village in case the Homeowner" Association fails to maintain o repair the entry monuments, landscape easements, and stormwater detention areas. Attorney John Philipchuck presented Clerk Janik with Waiver of right of Objection and Notice of Publication for the Public Hearing. There were no other Public Comments made. S. Rathbun moved to close the Public Hearing and return to the regular meeting. Seconded by R. Smolich. Vote by roll call. Cherry, yes; Collins, yes; O'Connell, yes; Rathbun, yes; Smolich, yes. 5 yes, 0 no, 1 absent. Motion carried. The Heating adjourned at 7:27 p.m.A S/UtSAN JANIK, VISAGE CLERK {/
