Monday June 5th, 1911,
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board on Monday June 5th,
19110 at 9 O'clock A. M.. The following members of said Board
being present, Messrs, Hammond and Charles, Absent Mr. Zimmerman,
The following proceedings were had, to -wit: -
The Board directed the City Civil Engineer, to prepare plans &
spcifieations to improve the 1st alley south of Main Street, from
South loth to llth Street, by constructing a cement roadway in
said alley the full width thereof.
The Board received a letter from The T, II. 1. & be Traction Co.,
for information in regard to repairs to Dam and construction of
fish ladders on same, the.01'ty Civil Engineer was directed to send
to said Traction Co. the desired information.
The City Civil Engineer was directed to correspond with the C, & 0,
Ry., Co., in regard to the condition of the switch & aide -track
above the Municipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant,
The Board decide to lease from Elizabeth Jones, the Lot at the
corner of North 17th & Main Streets, for Nortb bide Market, for
the sum of #50,00 per year,
The City Civil Rngineer filed with the Board his estimate for the
construction of Concrete Arch Bridge, in Glen Park,
The Board directed the Clerk to advertfae for bids for the construct-
ion of Concrete Arch Bridge at Glen Park,
Claims to the amount of $4453*81 wore allowed and ordered paid.
The Board did then adjourn,

A petition was presented, for the improvement of Washington Ava,
by constructing cement sidewalk on north aide of said street,
from North 6th Street to the proposed street, NW Of the P.c,C.&
St L. Rye Co. right-of-way, which was referred to the City civil
Engineer for plans etc.,
Thd Board meets to hear remonstrances ani take final action cr,
Declaratory Resolution No, 52-1910, to vacate the alley in the
rear of Lots 21 & 22 I, E. Jones, Addition to the City of Richr..oml,
Indiana, and extending west from North 8th Street, to the first
alley west, and being the first alley south of North "F1 Streit,
No remonstrance being filed with or presented to the Board agair
said proposed vacation, thereupon, 'being fully advised in the mri#
ter, the Board takes final action on said resolution, conflinin.

Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all owners c
holders of property, and of valuable intereata therein,sought to
be taken or to be injuriously affected, which list or roll shall
also describe the property beneficially affected.
The Board meets to hear remonstrances and take final action on
Declaratory Resolution No. 53-1910, to vacate the alley in the
rear of Lots 1 to 8 inclusive in I. E. Jones Addition, to the
City of Richmond, Indiana, and extending northwest=rlYfrom witl
