LIGHT PLANT, MONDAY, APRIL- 4, 1966:. • -The CommdiiCouncil of the City of Richmond, Indiana serving as a committee in charge of the operation of the Richmond Power and. Light Plant met in-regular • session in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in said. City Monday, April 4, 1966 at the hour of 7:00 o'clock p.m. (est). Councilman Hilligoss presiding with the following :members being present: Messrs. Backmeyer, Bell,- Henn; Hollings= worth, Marino, Paust, Youngflesh and Yount. The following business was had to-wit: There being no corrections or additions to the minutes of March A21, 1966,. Council- man Yount moved the minutes be dispensed with, seconded by Councilman _Backmeyer and on voice vote was carried. - Councilman Hollingsworth moved the following claims be allowed-and paid,• seconded by Councilman Henn and on voice vote was carried. Approve the following: _ Bills in the amount of $105,110.90 Payment. of Interest Coupons-1953 Revenue Bonds 261.25 1 - Payroll 42:,995.03 • Mr. ack presented the- following tabulations on proposals received March 21,1966 for one (1) new car per specifications. This motion was seconded by Councilman Hollings- worth and on voice vote was carried. • Mr. Beck presented the tabulations of the proposals received March 21, 1966 for furnishing one (1) heavy duty industrial tractor. Councilman Yount moved this Board concur in the recommendation of the _ ' General Manager. This motion was seconded by Councilman Backmeyer and on-voice vote was carried. - Mr. Beck reported that he had filed the Rate IS.-Industrial Service with the P.S.C. of Indiana as directed at the last meeting. A study is still being made on the other rate schedules. - 'Mr. Beck requested authority to receive bids for furnishing 213 wood- poles vary- ing in height from 65 feet -to 80 feet to be used in the construction of approxi- - mately 8.7 miles of 69 K.V. transmission line on horizontal post insulators' with associated static. and overhead ground wire and 13.8 K.V. and 7.2/12.5 K.V. dis- tribution underbuild to be known as the "Boston Township-'Line". . .The bids to be received. May 2,-1966. Councilman Yount moved the General Manager be authorized to advertise for bids as requested, seconded by Councilman Marino and on voice vote was carried. Mr. Beck reported that in the very near future the Light_Plant will be faced with the disposal of the "Fly Ash". It -is desired that a contract be executed for Engineering Services to do this work and also future work of this nature. A- . contract has been submitted by the Monlenbelt and Seifert Consulting Engineers of Kettering, Ohio which every member of Council shall study before the contract IIIis signed. - Chairman HilLigoss' called a meeting, of this Board April 12-, 1966 at 'the hour of 7:00 o'clock at the Service Building• of the Richmond Power and Light.
