ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET, IN THE COUNTY
OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY APPROPRIATING $6,676,040 FOR
THE CARTERET WATERFRONT PUBLIC ACCESS IMPROVEMENTS,
SUCH APPROPRIATION CONSISTS OF A GRANT FROM THE STATE
OF NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL
PROTECTION'S OFFICE OF NATURAL RESOURCE RESTORATION
IN THE AMOUNTS OF $6,676,040.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET, IN THE
COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. $6,676,040 is hereby appropriated to provide for the Carteret Waterfront Public
Access Improvements Project, including all work and materials necessary therefor and incidental thereto
and further including all related costs and expenditures incidental thereto by the Borough of Carteret, in
the County of Middlesex, New Jersey (the "Borough "), consisting of a grant from the State of New Jersey
Department of Environmental Protection's Office of Natural Resource Restoration's for the Passaic River
Natural Resource Restoration: Newark Bay Complex, administered by the State of Jersey Economic
Development Authority, in the amount of $6,676,040.
Section 2. The Borough hereby certifies that it has adopted a capital budget or a temporary
- apital budget, as applicable. The capital or temporary capital budget of the Borough is hereby amended
to conform with the provisions of this ordinance to the extent of any inconsistency herewith. To the extent
that the purposes authorized herein are inconsistent with the adopted capital or temporary capital budget,
a revised capital or temporary capital budget has been filed with the Division of Local Government
Services.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect as provided by the law.

was introduced and passed upon first reading at a meeting of the
gover governing body of the Borough of Carteret, in the County of Mid-
ning State of New Jersey, on June 7, 2018. It will be further con-
sidered for final passage, after public hearing thereon, at a meeting
of the governing body to be held at the Municipal Building, in the
Borough on June 21, 2018 at 6:00 o'clock p.m. During the week
