The Board of Public Works of the city of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office oi' said Board on Monday July•3rd,
1911, at 9 o'clock A* Me All the members of said Board being
ammond, Charles and Zimmerman.

The following proceedings were had, to -wit: -
Pursuant to postponement to this date the Board meets to hear all
persons interested or whose property is affected by the following
described Public improvement: Improvement Resolution No, 264-1911
providing for the improvement of the alley between North 17th &
18th Street, by constructing a cetpent roadway in said alley the
full width thereof, from North "F," to Railroad Street. After
hearing, all persons who appeared and a petition by resident property
holdersa asking that said roadway in said alley be bowlddred with
3 brick center, the Board decides that the benefits to property
liable to be assessed far said Improvement are equal to the esti-
mated coat of same as estimated by the City Civil Engineer, and
thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally
adopted, modifying the same so as to provide for bids for grading
graveling,, bowldering & 3 brick center of said roadway, instead of .
oement.
The Board direct the City Civil Engineer to prepare plans etc.,
for the construction of cement sidewalk on North "F" Street, f'r°m
North 20th to 24th Street.
The.Board approved the contract & bond of I. N. Drury, for'the
construction of a concrete Arch Bridge in Olen Park.
The Board approves a primary assessment roll for the following
described public improvetaents, to -wit: -
For the lmprovemrmt of North 5th Street from Wain to North "L" St.,
by constructing cement sidewalk, curb & gutter on both sides of
street between the points named as provided for by Improvement
Resolution No. )27-1910.
For the Smprovemm t of North 7th Street from Main Street to Fort
Wayne Avenue, by constructing cement sidewalk on both sides there-
of, as provided for by Improvement Resolution No. 229-1910.
Pole the construction of sanitary sewer between South 20th to 21st
Street, in rear of lots 2 to 11 Inclusive Chas, Scotto Addition,
beginning at Linden Hill bleb -trunk Sewer & running South 420 fte
as provided for by Improvement Resolution No. 241-1911.
The City Civil Engineer filed his estimate on sewer in North "A"
St. & first alley West of North 5th St. running north from N.A"St
also for bowldered alley between North 17th & lAth St. from N "$"
to R.R. °t.,
The Board received notice from the Richmond City water Worka of the completion of extension of water line on West 5th Street. from
National road to West lain :;treat, as per agreement.
The Board direct the Street Comr,iscioner to fill up holtes in South
l2th ;;treat from fain to South "A" Stree.

on account of the delay of the City Attorney in getting up the
form of bond required by the City from the differrent companies
submitting bids to furnish water for. the City and the inhabitants
thereof, the Board extend the time for said companies to file
said bonds to July loth, 19l).
The Board on motion of Mr. Zinaserman unanimously decided that
the contractor under Improvement Resolution No. 225-1410,
providing for the construction of cement sidewalk on South 4th
Street, from Main to South "E" Street, proceed in aecordan"
with plans & specii'i.cations for said improvement.
