The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session �atthe Office Of

being present, :.[essr3, Haralond, Charles and Zimmerman.
T*,e following proceedings were had, to-erit:-
dr. Jas. L. FforninF9 contractor under itm_3rovemr:nt Resolutions
Note. 235 & 2&6-1910, providing £or the improvement of Kinsey
St. from ae3t line of Lot 285 Haynes,Addition, to the east ter-
minal of Kinsey St, and Northwest let Street, from Kinsey Street
to Richmond Ave. on which contracts the Poard extended the time
to September 1st, 1911, appeared before the Board by ,there request
And the Board 'lotified Mr. Horning, that said contracts must be
completed by said Sept., 1st, or a.penalty would be attached for
each day thereafter.
The City Civil Engineer filled his estimates on the following
described public improvements, to -sit:- For cement roadway in
alley between South. 17th & 18th St. from South "A" to "not St.
For Cement curb & enter & 5 ft sidewalks on both aides of North
"r^" St. from North 20th to 24th St. For 5 1't cement sidewalk on
south side of North "C" St. from North 19th to ,^.2nd St. Coment
roadway in alley between South 13th & 14th St, from South "C" to
"B" St. For cement roadway in 2nd alley south of Main Street,
from South. 4th to Sth Stre= t. For cement roadway in let alley
south of Main Street, from South 6th Street east to the alley
running north & south, (fiere Insert)
A petition was presented. for the improvement of the 2nd alley
south of South "B" St. from South 5th to 6th Street, referred to
Engineer for plans etc.,
A petition was presented, for the opening of the alley between
South 3rd & 4th Street, from South "C" to "D" Street, referred to
the Engineer for plans etc.,
A otitlon was presented signed by RebeCa P. Fulghum & 12 others
requesting, the Board to not, allow any part of the sidewalk on
National Road to he put out. against the curb, and thereby cut
out the space for shade trees and grass- plot, placed on file.
A petition *as presented signed by A. Harsh to Improve i the width
Of the alley between Southard & 2nd Street from South "A" St.
to a dlstano^ Or 45 ft. south of sald Streit, not granted Mr.
Harsh to be instructed to improve across the r idth of alley.

Ay constructing cement sidewalk on no tit sides of strut of a
width as follows, to -Fritz- On the west side from gain to
South "A" Street 12 febt Wide, on the east side from Main
to the first alley South of Muln 14 feet wide, and on the
remainder of said street 6 feet wide on both sides thereof
as provided for by Improvement Resolution ITo. 905-19100
pursuant to notice to the different companies submitting bids
for th; supply of water to the city and c1ti7ens thereof, &
the Common Council of the city, the Board adjourn to the
Council Chamber to go over the propositions Submitted by
the Fdwin M. Camyfield Co. and The Richmond City Water 4;orks
The Edwin M. Campfleld Co. bid being the first submitted was
read by 14r. Lindermuth attorney for said company and d:tplained
by him as read the hour being late the Board and council,`id-
