OTHERS PRESENT: SJANIK, CLERK; lHARVEY, ATTORNEY, T.L.BURGHARD, ADMINISTRATOR; A.PERSONS, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR; J.TESTIN, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR; S.SHEETZ, PLANNER; A.DEBONI, ADMINISTRATIVE ANAL YST; C.MINICK, MANAGEMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR; S.LARSON, ENGINEER; D.BENNETT, CHIEF OF POLICE; AND, M.GIBAS, RECORDING SECRETARY. WHITE ASH SPECIAL SERVICE AREA Mayor Rock called the meeting to order at 8:27 p.m. Present roll call stands. Administrator Burghard stat,~d that this is a Public Hearing for a Special Service Area. A Special Service Area is a guarantee that if a developer or Homeowner's Association fails to meet the requirements of the zoning or annexation agreement, the Village is then empowered to enact a special tax on the people within that special service area to make the repairs or upgrades. There were no public comm~nts. Trustee Waldorf moved to close the Public Hearing and return to the normal business meeting. Seconded by Trustee Collins. Voice Vote. All in favor, 0 opposed. Rock December 9,2003 Wallin Wood Commercial Concept After the joint meeting with the Plan Commission, Economic Development Commission and ourselves, we decided to fonn a concept review committee to evaluate the various details of the Wallin Woods Commercial development. I am appointing the following: Mrs. Carol Strader Mr. Bob Schinderle Mr. Walt Manning Mr. Steve Calabrese Mr. Jim Racich Mrs. Kathy O'Connell Mr. Jim Waldorf These are administrative me~:tings and will be staffed and coordinated by our Planning Department. The meetings will convene at 4:00 p.m. and conclude at5:30 p.m. I anticipate the meeting schedule to become effective after the holidays and that no more than three (3) meetings will be scheduled. The Ad Hoc committee's responsibility is to work in partnership to ensure a high quality and economically beneficial project on the Wallin Woods Commercial site. CC: Department Directors 24000w.
