BOARD PRESENT: R. ROCK, P. FAY, J. WALDORF, M. COLLINS, R.
SW AL WELL, AND S. THOMSON.
ABSENT: K. O'CONNELL.
OTHERS PRESENT: S.JANIK, VILLAGE CLERK; J.HARVEY, ATTORNEY; T.L.
BURGHARD, ADMINISTRATOR; ALLEN PERSONS,PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT; J.TESTIN, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR;
C.MINICK, MANAGEMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR; STEVE LARSON AND
DEREK WOLD,ENGINEERS; AND D. BENNETT, CHIEF OF POLICE.
2003 BOND ISSUE PUBLIC HEARING
C. Minick told the Board that the Bond Issue Notification Act requires this public
hearing. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive any public comment regarding
the proposed issuance of up to $26,000,000 of alternate revenue bonds for the purpose of
constructing the new Public Works facility, Police Station, and re-fInancing the existing
debt on the Village Halilacility. The first bond issue will come in December and is
expected to be a little OVf:r $13.7 million.
There was no public comment.
P. Fay moved to close th{~ Public Hearing and return to the regular meeting. Seconded by
J. Waldorf. Voice vote. All in favor 5, opposed 0, 1 absent. Motion carried.
Hearing was adjourned at 7:10p.m.
