PROPOSED BUDGET 2003-2004 FISCAL YEAR
Mayor Rock called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. Present roll call stands.
Mr. Chris Minick stated the Public Hearing is required by the Budget Act State Statute, which the
Village adheres to the provisions of the Budget Act. The Budget Act also requires the Village to
have a Budget adopted by May 151 of every year. The Village has been holding a series of hearings
on the proposed Budget.
Mr. Minick reviewed with the Mayor and the Board the fee adjustments proposed on the Budget and
gave an overview of previous Budget hearings.
An Ordinance to adopt the Budget will be brought before the Board at the Board meeting scheduled
for April 21, 2003.
There were no public comm~:nts.
Trustee Cherry moved to cl05e the Public Hearing and return to the regular business meeting.
Seconded by Trustee Thomson. Vote by roll call. Cherry, yes; Calabrese, absent; Collins, yes;
Swalwell, yes; O'Connell, yes; Thomson, yes. 5yes, 0 no, 1 absent. Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 7:06 p.m.
