providing for the improvement of South "C" Street from South 14th
to South 15th Street, by constructing cement sidewalk 6 feet in
width & cement curb & gutter on both sides of said street between

Pursuant to adjournment to this date the Board of Public Works of
the City of Richmond. Indiana, met at 8 O'clock P. M. with the
Common Council in the Council Chamber at City hall of said city,
to proceed to hear the proposal of the Richmond City Water Works on
Water Supply, the proposal was again taken up and discussed by
the Council & citizens and Water Works Co. officials, not having
time to finish said bearing meeting was continued to Thursday
August loth, 19119 at 7 30 O'clock P. M.

The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board on Thursday
August loth, 1911, at 9 O'clock A. M. The following memDere of
said Board being present, Messrs, Hammond and Charles. Absent
Mr. 7,ilmnerman. The following proceedings were had, to -wit: -
A petition was presented, for closing & re -opening of alley let
south of Linden Avenue, by moving present location several feet
north from West 5th Street to Edna Street. taken under advisement.
111pskind & Sons contractors for constructing sanitary sewer in
alley between South 9" & 10, Sts, from South "I' to 'is Ste,
were granted an extension of time in which to complete said con-
tract to September 15th, 1911.
The Street Commissioner was directed to pick, roll and macadim
South 5th St, from Main to South 'A' St, & North 5th St, from
Main to North "ll" St, & to begin South 5th Street first.
A petition was presented, for the construction of a 6 foot eement
sidewalk on west side of North 12th Street, from North 11" to
North "J" Street, referred to Engineer for plans.
Ford Grothause was granted permission to construct under private
contract a 6 foot sidewalk on north side of South "5' Street, fr
