PUBLIC HEARING
MARCH 15, 2004

K.O'CONNELL. BOARD ABSENT: MAYOR ROCK. OTHERS PRESENT: S.JANIK, CLERK;

APERSONS, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR; C.MINICK, MANAGEMENT SERVICES

PLANNER; S.SHEETZ, PLANNER; D.BENNETT, CHIEF OF POLICE; AND, M.GIBAS,
RECORDING SECRETARY.
MAIN ANNEXATION AGREEMENT
Chairperson O'Connell called the meeting to order at 7:25 p.m. Present roll call stands.
Mr. Testin stated this was brought forward at a Committee of the Whole Workshop to allow
comments by the Board in regards to the annexation agreement. The McMicken Assemblage wraps
around this parcel. The Heggs/Steiner connection goes through the corner of this parcel.
Mr. John Philipchuck, attorney for the Macom Corporation, reviewed the details of the Heggs/Steiner
roadway connection. This property also recognizes the extension of 143rd Street. The annexation
agreement document addresses minimum lot sizes and PUD guidelines. The proposed density
complies with the Comprehensive Plan.
A resident asked for clarification on how the Heggs and Steiner would connect.
There were no other public comments.
Trustee Swalwell moved to close the Public Hearing and return to the regular business meeting.
Seconded by Trustee Collins. Voice Vote. All in favor, 0 opposed. Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 7:29 p.m.
