BOARD ABSENT: MAYOR ROCK. OTHERS PRESENT: S.JANIK, CLERK; lHARVEY, ATTORNEY; T.L.BURGHARD, ADMINISTRATOR; S.LARSON, ENGINEER; APERSONS, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR; C.MINICK, MANAGEMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR; lTESTIN, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR; YHASTINGS, PLANNER; S.SHEETZ, PLANNER; D.BENNETT, CHIEF OF POLICE; AND, M.GIBAS, RECORDING SECRETARY. UPDIKE ANNEXATION AGREEMENT Chairperson O'Connell called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Present roll call stands. Mr. Testin stated that this property was discussed at the same time as the Main Farm. The discussion points at the Committee of the Whole were the number of units identified and the need for a concept plan. Mr. John Philipchuck, attorney for the Macom Corporation, stated two of the critical elements of the Village's Transportation Plan are identified in this property. This proposal provides for the right of way improvements for extension of 143rd Street and the dedication of right of way for the WIKADUKE trail. The access from the WIKADUKE will determine the size of the proposed commercial. The developer has agreed to develop under the Village's special use and PUD guidelines. There were no public comments. Trustee Swalwell moved to close the Public Hearing and return to the regular business meeting. Seconded by Trustee Waldorf. Voice Vote. All in favor, 0 opposed. Motion carried.
